The resolution of the 17-bit serial encoder is 2^17, that is, the resolution of the encoder is 131072; the resolution of the 23-bit encoder is 2^23, that is, the resolution of the encoder is 8388608;

 

Q: How to set the electronic gear ratio of the XDQ1 series servo driver, for example, it takes 3600 pulses for one revolution of the motor, how to set it?

A: Take the 17-bit motor encoder as an example;

Two setting methods:

1) The electronic gear numerator Pn20E is set to the encoder resolution 2^17=131072, and the electronic gear denominator Pn210 is set to the number of pulses required for one circle 3600;

2) The electronic gear numerator Pn20E is set to 3600 pulses required for one revolution, and the electronic gear denominator Pn210 is set to 0. When Pn210 is 0, the driver automatically calculates the electronic gear ratio according to Pn20E.

 

Q: How many volts do XDM1 series servo motor brakes need to supply? Can the internal power supply of the servo be used? Does the brake coil have polarity?

A:

1) The brake needs to be powered by 24V;

2) Internal power supply is not allowed, because the current needs to be large when the motor opens the brake, and the 24V current inside the servo drive may be shunted and unstable, and the brake may not be opened;

3) The brake coil has no polarity;

 

Q: How long is the service life of XDM1 series servo motor holding brake?

A: Different manufacturers have different specifications. Generally, the nominal life of static braking is about 500,000 times, and the life of dynamic emergency braking (abnormal) is about 200 times.

 

Q: How to restore the factory value of XDQ1 series servo driver?

A:

1) Execute Fn005, the user parameters are restored to the factory defaults (except Pn002.3 and Pn012);

2) Execute Fn015, all parameters are restored to factory defaults (except Pn002.3, Pn012);
